Who We Are and What We Do
We are a collective composed of and run solely by volunteers. We operate as a non-hierarchical group and make all decisions by collective members through a consensus decision making process.
We bring to the community an infoshop: a resource center (lending library, books, and independent publications for sale, a computer with internet access, an information board with upcoming events and a cariety of free items, including pamphlets, newspapers, and even food), a community space (free for local activst groups to use to meetings and events, and counches for anyone to use to sit back and read, write, discuss, reflect, etc), educational events (such as films, workshops and reading groups), a venue for all ages shows and simply a great place to meet and spend time with others who envision a better world.
We survive on membership dues and sales from the shop. If you want to be involved, and money is an issue, there are other ways to contribute to be considered a member, just ask us!
