El Kilombo Intergalactico is a collective in Durham, North
Carolina, formed to open a community space and radical bookstore focused on the concerns of people of color and working class communities in Durham. The center will include a radical bookstore, an ESL learning center, progressive speaker and film series, community gardening and food distribution, a free technology center, and space for local cultural events, like concerts, poetry readings, and art exhibits. El Kilombo is currently made up of Estacion Libre Durham, the 9th Street Autonomist Marxism Reading Group, and other members of the community.
