Focus Swap
This exercise challenges your focus by changing its focus. It should be practiced during a sitting position. Hold your pointer finger in front of your face, specialize in your outstretched finger and slowly bring it back toward your eye, holding your focus, move the finger from the attention and concentrate for some seconds on that, now look and specialize in something within the distance.
Near and much Focus
This is another focus exercise. like the previous one, it should be done from a seated position. Hold your thumb about 10 inches from your face and specialize in it for 15 seconds. Find an object about 10-15 feet away, and specialize in it for some seconds. Bring back your point of interest to your thumb.
It’s not healthy for the human eye to be stuck to one object for an extended time. But, due to the lockdown and also the Pandemic situation we are currently in, digitals gadgets became a continuing source of our work hence increasing the time we spend staring at them, but the 20-20-20 rule may help prevent digital eye strain. To implement this rule, every 20 minutes, have a look at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds.
